
Class Basics
for 2025-2026 School Year
An after school program for PreK-5th grade
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
You can do one, two, three, four or all five days.
Time: 2:45pm-5pm. Pickup no later than 5:15pm.
*PreK students pickup is no later than 4:30pm until age 5.

Co-Chair of the Third Street School Garden
Location: 3rd Street Courtyard.
We will also tend the 4th Street Courtyard and the 10 tree pits on school property.
Class will take place outdoors as much as possible.
Indoor Location: Room 207
Costs:
$55/class for families with a combined income over $90K.*
$50/class for families with a combined income from $70K-$89,999.
$45/class for families with a combined income from $55K-$69,999.
$35/class for families with a combined income from $30K-$54,999.
$25/class for families with a combined income less than $29,999.
• PreK families pickup is no later than 4:30, and the price per class is $44 for families with a combined income of over $90K. Please inquire for price list.

Materials and registration fee per session: $35.
Dropins: $65/class. Please notify Maggie at 646-712-3020, and pay no later than noon the day of.
Half Days for students not enrolled on Fridays: $115/class until 5pm and pay by Tuesday.
Late Pickup: $35 late pickup fee after 5:15pm.
Enroll either monthly, seasonally or annually. 10% discount off annual enrollment.
Each month has a different number of DOE holidays. Monthly costs are averaged over the length of each season.

Pricing for Families with Combined Income of 90K or more

Session Dates:
Fall Session (Earth)--September 8th, 2025-December 19, 2025
Winter Session (Air) --January 5th, 2026-April 1, 2026
Spring Session (Water)--April 13, 2026, June 18, 2026
Snacks:
Families provide their own snacks.
Kids will be encouraged to taste washed produce harvested in garden.
Routine
• Meet at pickup. (2:45pm)
• Walk over to the courtyard together plus bathroom break on the way. (2:45-3pm)
• Sit on bleachers for snack time and introduce discussion topic for the week. (3-3:30pm)
• Free play at different garden activity stations with guided activities as well (3:30-4:30pm)
• Introduce handwork project and begin work. (4:30-5pm)
• Parents pickup children (5-5:15pm)
• Children may continue to work on their handwork or have free play in the garden until parents pickup.
