We are not meeting on Indigenous Peoples’ Day or Veterans’ Day.
Routine
We meet at 9am in Prospect Park at Lincoln Road entrance, conveniently located near the B/Q/S Prospect Park stop.
We will gather on the left side near the trees as you enter.
Our day begins with Circle time, followed by a Forest activity, then we walk to a shady play location in the park where we will have our Morning Snack.
Afterwards the children are free to explore.
Next we will have time for Handwork, Lunch, Quiet Reading or Rest, another Nature Walk and Afternoon Snack.
This class will take place outdoors. If it rains, we will move to a covered location in the park.
If the weather is severe, we will go to the Brooklyn Public Library.
Cost
Cost is $132/day or $528 per week
Late pickup after 3:15pm, $25
Sliding Scale available for families earning under 90K.
This program is not limited to families attending The Neighborhood School
Recent Handwork projects include: fingerknitting, wool buttons, starry sky bookmark, sun weavings
